Can you guarantee that you will sell my house?


As the saying goes, the only guarantees in life are death and taxes. So … no. What we can guarantee, though, is a better selling method that puts your property in front of people who are genuinely interested in buying a house just like it, instead of hoping they’ll stumble across it as with other sales techniques.




Do I need to be on social media to make Property Advertising work for me?


Short answer: yes. Property Advertising uses social media to promote the property you’re selling using your social media accounts, not ours. Not only will this tactic get more eyes on your property, it’ll also get more eyes on you – the agent. If you haven’t got a Facebook page of your own, it’s really simple to set up. If you need help, just ask.




What info do you need from me?


Put simply, all the awesome things about the property you’re selling. We’ll create a click-worthy ad that includes high-quality images, video and the most important details about the property from the information you give us, so the more you give us the better. Think number of bedrooms and bathrooms, special features like sea views, chef’s kitchen, triple garage, guest wing, man cave … anything that will encourage more people to click through to your listing. We also need the link to the listing on your website, so when people click on our ad they’ll be redirected to your website.




Who pays for the ad?


If you’re a real estate agent, you can add our fee to the marketing package your seller will purchase. If you’re a homeowner selling your home yourself, you’ll pay the fee yourself.




How do I pay for my ad?


Direct debit, automatic payment or credit card works for us. You’ll be given the exact instructions when you sign up for a plan. Real Estate Offices can also apply to obtain a line of credit and be invoiced for payment. Credit Terms & Conditions Apply.




How do you protect my information?


What goes on PropertyAdvertising.co.nz stays on PropertyAdvertising.co.nz. Our website and emails are fully encrypted which means it’s very difficult to hack into them, plus all of your data is stored in ultra-secure cloud storage hosted by our preferred secure data storage providers (we don’t have any hard copies) so there’s no danger of it falling into the wrong hands. When it comes to Payment Information, we use PCI Compliant technology and systems to the Highest Standard.




How do you get your data?


We work with Facebook, Google, website activity and third-party data collectors to source data that’s specific to real estate and property in your area. This data tells us what kinds of properties people have been searching for in the last few weeks, which helps us target those same people with your property. We then pair this with our super-top-secret targetting algorithm, and then the magic happens.




How do you find potential buyers?


We use data and targeting parameters from social media and more than 10,000 popular websites and apps to put your ad in front of people who have been searching for properties just like yours. If your property matches the kinds of things prospective buyers have been searching for, we’ll present your ads on their social media feeds plus thousands of their favourite websites and apps.




Do I have to pay even if I don't have a property listed?


The beauty about PropertyAdvertising.co.nz is that it’s totally free to sign up for an account. When you join the Property Advertising party, you’ll receive exclusive access to how-to articles that will help you prepare for your sale, manage buyers, negotiate open homes, and even follow safe selling practices for Covid-19 – all for free. As soon as you decide to list a property, that’s when we’ll ask for some pennies.




How long does it take to create an ad?


We’re all about same-day delivery, baby. As long as you give us all the details we need to create your ad campaign, we’ll have it created and live quick-smart.




Do I have to sign up for a contract?


Nope. Buy one ad, buy lots of ads or buy no ads and just belong to the club. It’s totally up to you.




How long have you been doing this?


PropertyAdvertising.co.nz has been in the business of, well, property advertising for years, but we researched and sourced the experience of agents from all over New Zealand to build our product, with a combined experience of over 50 years in the Real Estate Market. Property Advertising New Zealand's main company has been around since 2015, specialising in Marketing and Advertising brands all over the world.




What if we don't have any photos or videos?


Unless you’re selling a house on the radio, images and video are what sell property. If you don’t have any, we highly recommend you get some – and the higher the quality, the better. That means no grainy shots taken on your old Nokia; investing in a professional photographer or at the very least using a smartphone with a great camera is a sure-fire way to get more eyes on your property.




Do I have to be a real estate agent to use Property Advertising?


No. If you’re selling your house yourself, we can help – just ask.




How often do I get a report?


Reports are released weekly direct to your inbox. Your report is 100% customised to your listing and outlines how many views and click-throughs to your website (or property listing) you’ve had to enable you to share the information with your vendor to prove your selling performance.




Why are you better than other companies in property advertising?


When you run an ad on a property website, you rely on the right buyers to scroll through screeds of other listings to eventually fall on yours. The same goes with running an ad in the newspaper. The right buyer needs to pick up the right paper and turn to the right page to see your ad. A lot of traditional property advertising relies on fluke. What if my house sells before the ad finishes?


If your property sells before your plan has run out, congratulations! Your ad will be scheduled to stop as soon as the sale has gone through, and will show up as sold until the client/agency relationship is complete (in-line with REANZ Marketing Regulations).




What if there’s a problem with my ad?


Just let us know and we'll fix it pronto.




What if I change my mind? Can I get a refund?


Sorry, once an ad has started refunds are not available.




Can we extend our ad?


100%. Just let us know and we’ll sort it out for you. If extending your ad puts you up into the next plan category we’ll discuss our options with you before doing anything.




Can we customise our own plan?


Absolutely. Tell us what you want and we’ll see if we can make it happen. As long as the customisation has no negative impact on the campaigns performance, we'll be able to create a plan that suits your needs.




Can I buy a higher package and advertise multiple houses?


Yep – just choose our custom package and we’ll design you a plan that ticks all your boxes.
